The purpose of worship is not about who you are but who He is. As a believer, your default disposition should always be thanksgiving because your God is always good.

Wondering why you should be thankful and worship, here are three reasons why:

1. You must worship Him because He is God (Matthew 2). You have to be intentional about your worship, acknowledging God’s role in creation; He made you.

2. God is good (Psalm 34:8). You should be grateful for all that He has done for you. The goodness of God should make you burst out in thanksgiving.

3. He gave you His son. In seasons like this, we remember the day we became sons of God. If God has your sincere devotions let Him have your deepest emotions.
