Our perspective on thankfulness has changed because we know that we have already won! The goal of prayer is not only what it can do for us, but what it can do in us – we are God’s priority.

We are to serve the best interest of our kingdom here on earth. God needs partnership. Jesus cannot both be savior and preacher. God needs us. He is placing a demand on our friendship.

The power in you, the fire is for the transformation of lives and for drawing people to salvation. It is for purification, sanctification, and consecration of the hearts of men (Matthew 3:11-12).

It’s a great anomaly that men do not pray. If you truly gaze on God, out of delight and not duty, you will stay there.
