Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; He puts them side by side, he was suggesting that there’s a way to get high without damaging your body. Spiritual Gifts have a fabric; a way they are meant to function. Paul was telling us to seek edification. A gift is as important as the needs that need to be met. He was emphasizing the importance of the gift of tongues and interpretations. Tongues and interpretations = Prophecy
