When I Don’t Feel Close To God

When I Don’t Feel Close To God

(2 Cor 5:7) In the school of spiritual maturity, you must come to a point where there is sight before what your physical eyes can see & hear more than what your physical ears can hear.
We walk by faith and not by sight. Hence, you can move with the Word and let your feelings catch up.

1 Peter 1:8, John 20:21
You don’t need to have a spectacular encounter to see God because his Word is our sight and a Word encounter is encounter enough.

Three major areas where we must learn to walk by faith and not by sight;
✨Salvation – When it comes to this, we walk by faith and not by sight. That you lack assurance of faith doesn’t mean you’re not saved. This is the compassion with which Paul wrote Romans 1:12.
You can be zealous for God and be in error.
You can feel saved and not be saved because the assurance of salvation is not a feeling. 1 John 2:1-2
In salvation, you must learn to put the Word of God above your feelings. Feelings are not the power of God unto salvation. You must learn to let your feelings catch up.

✨Miracles – Mark 11:24. Believing is seeing.
The word of God is more powerful than experience.
We only see miracles when we believe.

✨Devotion – Psalm 23
You must learn to balance your walk with God.
The presence of chaos, storm, and darkness doesn’t mean he is not there.
What makes goodness and mercy follow you is that God is with you. You must embrace the word of God (The truth of God’s word) not feelings. Isaiah 50:10
Sometimes, the environment looks contradictory but remember the word of God.

When I don’t feel God, what should I do?🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏽‍♂️
🧡 I get full of the word of God. Get on the Word diet. Psalm 119:86

🧡 I must confess the Word of God.
When you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you talk and confess God’s Word.
A man of God is talkative.
We must learn to let our feelings catch up.
Your sensitivity to your walk with God can be a call to action.

🧡 I Move- You take a step of faith.
Take a bold step and allow your feelings to catch up.
