Power, Integrity & Excellence

Power, Integrity & Excellence

God’s people must learn how to be faith people in an environment of contradiction. Three Lessons we learned from Daniel:

1. Power: Daniel demonstrated power when thrown into the lions’ den and was unharmed.

2. Integrity: Daniel refused to compromise his beliefs. He didn’t defile himself with the king’s meat, didn’t bow to the image, and kept praying to the only true God.

3. Excellence: Daniel had an excellent spirit. Proving that all other gods were imposters. If you have any bias against the provisions of God, two things will happen:

1. You will hinder God in your life (1 Corinthians 14:32, Psalm 78:41). 2. You will be ill-prepared for the things that God has planned for you, causing delay (Exodus 13:17). Your immaturity can cost you a lot. Your soul is most important to God. We see it in Solomon’s prayer. If you would only grow, you would do much more.

(Proverbs 30:7-9) The same event can produce different results in different people. What differentiates the results is what you carry inside. (James 1) Become selfless: carrying selfless ambition, having a focus with which you run (Hebrews 12:1). Integrity will make sure you make heaven but power and excellence help you carry as many people with you. Until you die to yourself, you can’t start working for God.

When you die to self, God can start trusting you with money (Colossians 3:1-3, Romans 12:1) Your faith is not an excuse for why things are not working. It should be the reason why everything is working. The people working for money shouldn’t work more excellently than you who’s working for souls to be saved. If lives depend on it, then show it in your commitment. The world must not produce better results than you!!
