Sermon: The 5C’s of Prayer.

Wrapping up the prayer series for the month of September, Pastor Laju taught the 6C’s (Yes. She added an extra and vital C😉) of prayer.

Now, it is important to note that for our prayers to be effective, maintaining a prayer culture is vital and the points below will equip you for this task.🧏🏼‍♀️

🔸 Consistency
(1 Thessalonians 5:17, Romans 12:12, Ephesians 6:18)

Daily conversations with God are so important as it can only be called a prayer culture when it is consistent.

🔸 Celebration
(Ephesians 1:15-16,Acts 19:20, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Never let the devil talk you out of thanksgiving over what God has done for you in the past. If you are conscious of the goodness of God, you will pray more because a culture of celebration will lead to a culture of prayer.

🔸 Conviction
The guilt of not praying enough is one thing that stops people from praying. So, there must be a conviction of who God is and who you are in him. A conviction of who you are praying to and the fact that he hears you.

🔸Concentration
It is important to pay attention as you will get more results in prayer if you concentrate. You can also practice praying in your understanding intermittently just as you pray in tongues.

🔸Confidence
(Luke 8:51-52)

There are miracles you will not see except you are brave enough to pray in spite of contradiction.

🔸 Company
(Hebrews 12:22-23, 11 Kings 6:15)

When we pray together, things happen.
Prayer is a weapon and praying together is a strategy.

Another glorious thing we should be conscious of is that we have spiritual company. A whole army of Angels at our beck and call.
